Dark Nights Metal #3 Francesco Mattina Virgin Variant

This is the Francesco Mattina Virgin Variant of Dark Nights Metal #3 (of the six issue mini-series). The regular issue was in shops around October 11th, 2017 for $3,99 and was written by Scott Snyder with interior art by Greg Capullo that was inked by Jonathan Glapion.

Superman is pulled into the mystery of the Dark Multiverse while the Justice League follows the trail to a weapon that could keep the forces of the Dark Multiverse at bay!

The "Virgin" variant was "limited to 600 copies worldwide" and was exclusive to a few select retailers. If you are looking for a copy ensure that the cover art matches and the barcode on the back should read 7-61941-34892-6-00301.

By the last week in March 2018, CGC had recorded 188 gradings for the Mattina "Virgin" Edition with 119 of those in CGC 9.8 (near mint / mint).

A theme in this issue is the theme to the '66 TV show with references in numerous panels including selection B-66 on a jukebox.
