This issue was written by Al Ewing with interior art by Joe Bennett & Germán García. The variants featured here are the Green 1:200 variant (Diamond code: JUL198594 / barcode: 7-59606-08956-7-02591) and Alex Ross 1:500 Virgin Variant (Diamond code: AUG191037 / barcode: 7-59606-08956-7-02581).

The Ross cover art was also used on the regular edition (Diamond code: AUG191030) and on the second print (Diamond code: SEP198630, in shops 2019-12-04) as a sketch cover. Several other covers were available, including comic shop variants and a "Hidden Gem" variant, with a cover by Gene Colan & Rudy Nebres.

In early April 2020, CGC recorded 11 gradings of the "Virgin Edition", with 8 in the top grade of 9.8 (near mint / mint) as well as 3 gradings of the "Green Edition" all in the top grade of 9.8. Key comments note the dual title and numbering: "Incredible Hulk #742".
