Jim Lee Remastered X-Men Variants:
X-Men: Gold #1 & X-Men: Blue #1:

 

This is another case of Marvel recycling art from over a quarter of a century previously, from an artist that had moved on to a rival, to create valuable high ratio retailer incentive covers.

The X-Men Gold Remastered edition uses art from the interior of X-Men (1991) #1, by Jim Lee, with Archangel hurling Colossus through a window of Professor Charles Xavier's school (as part of an exercise):

The art, rotated and reversed, was also used to adorn a small part of the massive 6-player X-Men Konami arcade game:

The X-Men: Gold series has Kitty Pryde leading a team comprised of Storm, Nightcrawler, Prestige and Old Man Logan. Anti-mutant sentiment is abound (as usual) despite their heroic efforts and they bump into a gang of baddies with a familiar name...

The X-Men Blue Remastered edition uses art from one of the centerfolds (a number of different centerfolds exist) from the various variants of X-Men #1:

At the end of 2017, the CGC census recorded 19 gradings (14 in 9.8) of the X-Men: Gold #1 Remastered Edition and 16 gradings (14 in 9.8) of the X-Men: Blue #1 Remastered Edition.

Both of these rare Jim Lee recycled art variants are demanding high prices: expect to pay a four figure sum for a top graded (9.8) CGC or CBCS copy of either.
